Job summary

The Providence Center Housing and HUD Administrator will assist in housing placement for tenants across TPC-owned and managed properties. You will work with multiple departments and clinical teams to ensure safe, appropriate living environments for residents.

Responsibilities include processing housing applications, managing waitlists, conducting annual and interim recertifications, administering HUD vouchers, rent collection, and coordinating with tenants, staff, and vendors to maintain

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Experience with HUD and RI Housing administration required.
• Knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350 Occupancy Requirements of Subsidized Multifamily Housing Programs.
• PRAC 811 knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent typing, spelling and grammar.
• Proficiency with PCs and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming housing applications, time-stamp, and enter data into housing waitlist.
• Manage waitlist updates and annual updates.
• administer annual and interim recertifications for tenants.
• Coordinate with tenants, staff and external vendors for recertifications.
• Oversee move-in and move-out processes; complete necessary documentation.
• Administer HUD vouchers and HUD 811/202 rental increases.
• Collect and document rent; produce and deliver notices for past due rent.
• Process utility invoices weekly; ensure compliance with housing certifications (HUD NSPIRE/ RI Housing).
• Perform unit and building inspections; report deficiencies to facilities.
• Maintain EIV access and manage key inventory; annual HUD audit submissions.
• Oversee day-to-day property management and liaison with staff and vendors.
• Maintain housing files and communicate tenancy requirements to stakeholders.
