Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support HUB operations under the General Manager. You will pull and ship HUB orders, assist with cycle counts, plan-o-grams, stock management, and daily record keeping to ensure accurate inventory and operations.

The role requires strong communication, basic merchandising, and inventory skills, with the ability to lift heavy items. Forklift certification is preferred; training provided. Must be flexible for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Retail experience with basic merchandising and inventory management helpful.
• Must be able to stand/walk constantly and lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally 100 lbs.
• Forklift operation ability preferred if certified.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• Call servicing store if HUB order cannot be filled.
• Complete cycle counts for parts department inventory.
• Maintain plan-of-grams and stock levels in the parts area.
• Perform department callbacks and MAXI changes as directed.
• Ensure compliance with security, customer service, and record-keeping policies.
• Train and develop team members per General Manager direction.
• Open/close duties and daily transaction recording as required.
