Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support HUB operations under the General Manager. You will pull and ship HUB orders, participate in cycle counts, and work with the store team to maintain stock levels and update records.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and prior retail experience. Flexibility for nights/weekends and safe operation of equipment are valued; lifting up to 100 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience with basic merchandising and inventory management preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack) if certified.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• When HUB orders can’t be filled, call servicing store to explain next steps.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with plan-o-grams.
• Stock and stockroom organization with store management.
• Complete callbacks and updates for MAXI changes in parts department.
• Adhere to safety, customer service, and record-keeping policies.
