Job summary

JLL is hiring an HSSE Manager to join the Account Team and lead on-site program management ensuring compliance with JLL and client requirements at multiple sites across the United States.

You will train, coach, and support site teams in HSSE practices, develop the training matrix, analyze trends, and communicate performance metrics to leadership. Strong regulatory knowledge and collaboration with Life Sciences partners are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of HSSE experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety tools and techniques, preferably in Facilities Management.
• Understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, and operating procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for HSSE requirements and activities for the business.
• Lead the development and refinement of JLL’s HSSE culture and training programs on the account.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership on HSSE regulatory compliance issues.
• Maintain the account training matrix.
• Collaborate with JLL HSSE Life Sciences team to share best practices.
• Manage trend analysis to adjust management systems.
• Provide KPI and risk indicators to teams.
• Ensure HSSE incidents are analyzed and actions implemented.
• Lead investigations of serious safety events and share lessons learned.
• Support environmental compliance efforts as per the MSA/SOW.
• Maintain HSSE procedures and records.
• Support ISO 45001 & 14001 certification activities.
• Be the key client support contact for HSSE communications.
