Job summary

JLL is seeking an HSSE Director to join the Account Team in Rosemead, California. The role oversees HSSE programs, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations across multiple sites.

You will lead a team of HSSE professionals, develop training, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with the Life Sciences group to share best practices. Occasional travel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety-related field.
• 8+ years HSSE experience.
• Experience with ISO 45001 & 14001 standards and certifications.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for HSSE on the account.
• Lead HSSE culture and training programs.
• Direct a team of HSSE professionals and provide regulatory guidance.
• Maintain account HSSE procedures, docs and records.
• Collaborate with JLL HSSE Life Sciences team to share best practices.
• Provide KPI and risk indicators to Account and Client teams.
• Investigate serious safety events and drive corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance efforts per MSA/SOW.
