Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking an HSES Manager for its smaller, high-hazard manufacturing site. The role reports to the Global HSES Manager and oversees HSES strategy with one direct report, providing hands-on leadership on site leadership.

A key focus is to promote a culture of engagement and reduce exposure while ensuring compliance. You will work with site management to execute strategic and tactical HSES plans, drive incident investigations, and coordinate audits and regulatory visits to maintain a

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience implementing HSES compliance and risk management in chemical manufacturing; minimum 3 years in management.
• Working knowledge of US OSHA and EPA regulations including OSHA PSM/EPA RMP and EPA Title V, stormwater, wastewater, RCRA, SPCC, waste regs.
• Strong facilitation, interpersonal and computer skills with databases and applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement core HSES programs, initiatives and regulations.
• Lead and demonstrate commitment towards HSES standards, management systems and procedures.
• Train, coach and support the site in HSES issues and regulations.
• Guide all levels of management, supervisors and employees on accident prevention activities and interface with Contractors/Visitors as needed.
• Provide leadership and facilitation of incident investigations and analysis with sustainable corrective actions.
• Establish, manage and report on KPIs and measure results.
• Drive collaborative, problem-solving culture for open reporting and HSES performance.
• Manage regulatory and internal/external audits (ISO, PADEP, insurance).
• Identify and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Administer, plan, coordinate and execute HSES management systems and ensure deadlines.
