Job summary

CPS Inc. in Leesburg, GA seeks an EHS Manager for our manufacturing facility. This leadership role will drive safety culture, lead EH&S programs, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of EHS leadership in chemical, coatings, plastics or heavy industrial manufacturing, with strong communication and a boots-on-the-ground approach. Travel is <5% and after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in EHS leadership in chemical, coatings, plastics or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of site EH&S programs and policies.
• Conduct site audits, track metrics and report trends to leadership; submit required regulatory reports.
• Oversee contractor safety, qualification, training and safe work permits.
