Job summary

Magris Talc seeks a Hands-on HSEQ Manager for the Vermont Operations to oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality programs at the location and inactive sites. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and Magris Talc policies, coordinate trainings, audits, and incident investigations across operations.

The role requires experience in mining or manufacturing HSEQ, knowledge of environmental and quality practices, and a Bachelor’s degree in related fields.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health and Safety within a Mining or Manufacturing organization required.
• Environmental experience and/or training required.
• Experience in a quality role required.
• Bachelor’s degree related to environmental, safety or quality fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health, safety, environmental and quality programs at Vermont Operations and inactive locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Lead training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with operations to optimize safety, product quality, production and resource use.
• Administer workers’ compensation and maintain HSEQ records and reporting.
