Job summary

Magris Resources Inc. in Ludlow, VT is seeking a full-time HSEQ leader to oversee health, safety, environmental and quality programs across the Vermont operations.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines, manage testing, audits, training, and reporting to regulators, and coordinate with operations and contractors to optimize safety and product quality. The role requires a background in mining or manufacturing HSEQ, strong analytical and leadership abilities, and

Qualifications

• Experience in Health and Safety within a Mining or Manufacturing organization.
• Environmental experience and/or training.
• Experience in a quality role.
• Bachelor’s degree related to environmental, safety or quality fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fully supports the location health, safety, environmental and quality programs by overseeing their implementation, maintenance and enforcement as well as compliance with Corporate programs and policies.
• Ensures the proper maintenance of HSEQ systems; identifies opportunities to integrate HSEQ management systems.
• Ensures all required HSEQ testing is properly conducted and equipment maintained.
• Oversees the administration of the location Worker’s Compensation Program; coordinates with HR and safety personnel.
• Prepares reports on HSEQ activities and submits statistics to regulatory agencies.
• Maintains HSEQ records and communicates product specifications and revisions.
