Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Brookshire, TX seeks a Full-time HSE Specialist to promote a safe environment by implementing core programs and leading safety initiatives on site.

Responsibilities include delivering training (new hire safety orientations, forklift, first aid), conducting risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and coordinating safety walkthroughs to ensure compliance with HSE requirements. Bilingual candidates preferred; office and shop floor duties apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 3 years HSE experience in oil & gas fabrication.
• Must be bilingual.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations.
• Proficient written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor employees to improve safety.
• Deliver and facilitate training programs, including new hire safety orientations, forklift operation and certification, first aid, and other required safety and compliance training
• Ensure adherence to HSE Management System requirements.
• Provide technical support as needed.
• Oversee Worker Safety Teams.
• Review JSA’s and perform quality checks.
• Encourage continuous improvement in safety.
• Participate in safety audits and assessments.
• Collect and share lessons learned and best practices.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations.
• Assist with management safety walkthroughs and observations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and assessments, and observation and intervention (O&I) cards.
• Participate in safety planning processes such as Hazard Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Job Safety Analysis, Toolbox Talks.
• Review of HAZID/HAZOP’s and all other risk assessment activities.
• Attend and participate in project planning.
• Ensure that subcontractors meet SII HSE expectations.
