Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Director of EH&S to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across designated regions. You will drive loss prevention, compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, and DOT, and foster a proactive safety culture.

The role trains and coaches district leaders, supports incident investigations, and oversees documentation and audits. Travel across the company footprint is extensive with no fixed office location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a safety professional in transportation, construction, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and develop training materials with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel frequently (75%+).
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety subject matter expert to divisional leadership.
• Design, deliver, and reinforce training programs for a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor safety initiatives and drive corrective action.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT regulatory compliance across divisions.
• Lead investigations of injuries and near-misses; coach on investigations.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and incident command.
