Job summary

The role involves establishing safety best practices across districts, coordinating environmental and safety programs, and serving as Hurricane Preparedness Coordinator. Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental standards is essential, with the ability to lead teams and train staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry and operations.
• Experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Hands-on health, safety, and environmental training delivery skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask and interact with internal teams and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Establish best practices and cultivate a safety culture for reporting violations.
• Create and implement policies, procedures, and programs for compliance.
• Coordinate investigations for accidents and incidents program.
• Coordinate environmental permitting processes with agencies.
• Evaluate consultants and advise management on compliance improvements.
• Organize and facilitate monthly safety meetings in districts.
• Coordinate Safety Committees and align goals with management.
• Monitor local and federal laws, update policies to meet deadlines.
