Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Safety & Security Supervisor for our Kentucky facility. You will lead day-to-day health, safety and environmental efforts, coaching site personnel on safe operating behaviors and implementing risk control programs.

As a subject-matter expert, you will ensure compliance with DSV safety policies, coordinate audits, investigate incidents, and liaise with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Experience in safety observations/inspections and implementing compliance strategies.
• Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
• Preferred: Forklift certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall safety and security of the facility, operations, and staff.
• Maintain safety metrics and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training.
• Coordinate safety audits, risk assessments and reporting.
• Interface with regulatory agencies as DSV representative.
• Lead and coach site leadership on safe operating behaviors.
