Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Safety Supervisor (HSE) to guide day-to-day health, safety, and environmental programs at the Houston facility. You will coach teams, implement safety policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the site.

The role requires strong experience in safety management, incident investigation, and risk assessment, with the ability to train staff and coordinate with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Experience in safety observations/inspections and compliance planning.
• Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
• Preferred: Forklift training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DSV Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain safety and security of facility, operations, and staff.
• Develop and monitor HSE goals and KPI scores.
• Implement and oversee risk assessments and emergency management.
• Lead safety audits and coordinate with regulators as needed.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate HSE plans and results to site leadership.
