Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at our Farmington Hills, MI site. The role focuses on compliance with Federal and State regulations, supporting safety training, inspections, and program development for Chelsea and Detroit locations. Travel and certification preferences apply.

The position requires a High School diploma (Bachelor preferred), and 1+ year of EH&S experience in manufacturing, with CSP/CHCM and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent required and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience supporting/implementing EH&S in manufacturing.
• Certifications such as CSP/CHCM and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with safety training and track training needs.
• Conduct safety and environmental inspections and document findings.
• Participate in Safety Committee meetings and champion safety actions.
• Review and assess safety and environmental programs for compliance.
• Develop training records and document training needs.
• Create and maintain health and safety manuals and documentation.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely and compliantly.
• Monitor EH&S supplies and support recycling programs.
• Foster a safety-focused culture with site leadership support.
