Job summary

Oxbow Carbon LLC seeks a senior Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) leader to drive the company’s HSE strategy at the Texas City terminal. You will work with site and corporate teams to implement policies, lead audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance safety performance.

You will develop and execute HSE objectives, manage training, and oversee contractor safety while ensuring alignment with corporate standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health & safety, environmental science, engineering or equivalent.
• ASP/CSP certification preferred.
• Practical experience with HSE regulations and audit programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the terminal’s HSE policies and programs.
• Coordinate with facility management, corporate HSE and staff to ensure compliance.
• Plan and direct HSE audits, hazard assessments, and corrective action tracking.
• Manage training programs and contractor safety oversight.
• Represent terminal during audits and regulatory inspections.
