Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City, TX seeks a seasoned Safety, Health, Environmental & Security Manager to lead all SHE programs at the Texas City site. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ, drives PSM, risk reduction, incident investigations, and governance across operations, lab, and security functions.

The successful candidate will develop strategy, manage governance, and coordinate cross-functional teams while maintaining a strong safety culture and regulatory relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years chemical or petrochemical manufacturing experience focusing on SHE compliance.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental management systems with continuous improvement.
• Experience with PSM and Risk Management Programs (PSM: PSI, MOC, PHA/HAZOP/LOPA, Mechanical Integrity).
• Incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Ability to oversee contractor safety and manage external providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead SHE governance and continuous improvement across the site.
• Develop and enforce site-wide SHE policies and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and permits.
• Oversee PSM program elements: PSI, MOC, PHA/HAZOP/LOPA, MI.
• Drive emergency response planning and drills; manage EOC readiness.
• Lead site safety committee and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets and KPI reporting for SHE performance.
• Represent INEOS with regulators and external stakeholders.
