Job summary

Ox Industries is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site-wide EHS programs, drive a proactive safety culture, and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. You will work closely with mill leadership, identify hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions while coaching employees and operations teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• OSHA-30 certification (General Industry or Construction) required
• Minimum 2 years of EHS experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations leaders to bring EHS expertise to operational discussions
• Identify safety or environmental improvements and drive cultural/relationship improvements
• Lead root-cause investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed
• Co-Chair the on-site Safety & Health Committee and manage documentation
• Maintain safety training records and safety communications
• Oversee the mill’s New Hire Orientation safety onboarding and training calendar
• Mentor staff on EHS requirements and promote a culture of safety
