Job summary

ARaymond is seeking an Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to lead HSE programs across our metal forming and heat treatment operations in Indiana. You will partner with plant leadership to advance safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and ARaymond standards.

This role focuses on hazard reduction, incident investigations, job hazard analyses, training delivery, and continuous improvement of ISO 14001/45001 aligned systems across sites, including coordination with maintenance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health, industrial hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment emphasizing health, safety, and training.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA, EPA or state ENV regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 or similar HSE management systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HSE resource.
• Support daily HSE operations ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA/EGLE and ARaymond HSE standards.
• Lead development, review, and maintenance of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) / Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for high‑risk tasks.
• Partner with engineering/maintenance to ensure machine guarding, LOTO procedures, and energy‑control plans.
• Periodically conduct risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and safety audits of high‑risk equipment.
• Follow corporate reporting for timely incident reports and monthly KPIs.
• Respond to incidents and near misses with structured root‑cause investigations (5‑Why, Fishbone).
• Ensure corrective actions are documented and closed timely.
• Lead annual drills, emergency plans, and safety training delivery.
• Conduct internal and external HSE audits.
