Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Timekeeping Systems SME to serve as the expert for our timekeeping platforms. You will bridge users, HR, and Payroll, ensuring accuracy and consistency across processes and payroll.

You will audit usage, provide training, manage access, and collaborate on enhancements while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role emphasizes precision, stakeholder coordination, and reliable support for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, or computer systems required.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems preferred.
• 2–3 years in HR practices/policies.
• Understanding HR's role in business operations.
• Experience training day-to-day users of timekeeping systems.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll integration.
• Knowledge of compliance rules at federal/state/local levels.
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow preferred.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Teams/Outlook/Excel/Word/Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits to ensure policy compliance and data accuracy.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update timekeeping training materials to reflect changes.
• Ensure timely access provisioning for new users and role changes.
• Complete proxy set-ups to prevent service disruption during absences.
