Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a timekeeping Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the central point of contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it.

You will coordinate with HR and Payroll, ensure system integrity, support timely payroll processing, and drive enhancements. The role requires strong communication, training ability, and deep knowledge of timekeeping systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar.
• Two to three years of HR practices experience.
• Understanding of HR's role in business and day-to-day activities.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping systems and payroll interdependencies.
• Familiarity with timekeeping compliance (CBAs, US/PR/Canada rules).
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll to communicate updates and resolve disputes.
• Update and distribute training materials for timekeeping systems.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes.
• Set up proxies to maintain service during absences.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain knowledge resources and QRGs/FAQs.
