Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Salem, OR seeks a Timekeeping Systems SME to act as the expert for Ryder's timekeeping platforms.

You will be the primary contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it, bridging the gap between the system, its users, and HR and Payroll. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business, or computer systems is required.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies is required.
• Understanding HR's role and its influence on business is required.
• Ability to train and influence day-to-day system users is required.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interdependencies is required.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping usage for policy compliance and CBAs.
• Maintain relationship with HR and Payroll stakeholders for timely updates.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials to reflect changes.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes.
• Complete proxy set-ups to avoid disruption during absences.
