Job summary

Baltimore County, MD is seeking a merit HRIS professional to manage time and absence operations and provide HRIS support in the HRIS Division of the Office of Human Resources. The role reports to the HCM Time Tracking and Absence Manager and is based onsite in Towson, MD.

Primary duties include optimizing time/absence processes, supporting payroll validation and system updates, and ensuring data accuracy across Workday and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR administration, CIS, business, or public administration.
• Two years of professional experience in human resources administration.
• Operational knowledge of Workday.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Administer daily operations for time and absence, including troubleshooting issues and payroll validation.
• Monitor daily integrations related to time and absence, resolve errors, ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate policies and procedures to departments, county employees, and external partners.
• Coordinate project plans, meetings, and agendas.
• Assist with reviewing manuals, guides, and demonstrations for county employees.
