Job summary

Sandia Area Federal Credit Union (SAFCU) is seeking an experienced HRIS Administrator to partner with HR for recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits. The role focuses on administration, optimization and data integrity of HR systems across platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience configuring HR systems, with strong Excel skills and end-user support capabilities. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting HR operations and data governance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Human Resources Information Systems with understanding for financial institution operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR systems and advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is highly beneficial.
• Basic understanding of HR processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to produce reports and analyze information to make informed decisions.
• Skilled at troubleshooting system issues and providing end-user support.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure HRIS and related systems (e.g., Paycom, Compease, 15Five) ensuring data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information in compliance with policies and laws.
• Provide training to HR staff and managers on system functionality; troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed.
• Manage security, permissions, and user access for HR systems.
• Conduct regular audits of HR data for accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the liaison between HR, IT and external vendors for enhancements and integrations.
• Support day-to-day HRIS functions across recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits.
