The HRIS Specialist will support, enhance, and evolve our HR technology ecosystem. In this role, Workday serves as the payroll platform, while internally developed OA applications support critical HR operations, workflows, and employee processes across the organization.

This position extends beyond traditional HRIS administration. We are looking for a systems-minded professional who can bridge business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-centric applications. You will work across the full solution lifecycle, partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze processes, design improvements, implement solutions, and drive continuous optimization.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis capabilities with technical aptitude and enjoys solving operational challenges through technology, automation, and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Analyze and improve business processes through workflow design, system enhancements, automation, and continuous process optimization.
  • Design, configure, test, implement, and support HR systems, enterprise applications, and cross-functional technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain integrations between HR platforms, internally developed applications, and enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system reliability and user experience.
  • Support the ongoing administration and enhancement of HR technology platforms and business applications.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights for operational management and business decision-making.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release management, change management, and production deployments.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, data quality, and employee experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the United States, Taiwan, China, and other global regions to support enterprise initiatives and cross-regional projects.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process maps, technical specifications, and system support materials.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, HR technology, workflow platforms, business systems, or related technology solutions.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into technical and process-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of system architecture, business process design, workflow automation, integrations, and data management principles.
  • Experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Workday, HR technology platforms, workflow management systems, or enterprise business applications.
  • Experience working with internally developed applications, custom-built platforms, or proprietary business systems.
  • Hands-on experience with application configuration, scripting, automation tools, workflow engines, or low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data transformation, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Experience with Power BI, UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar reporting and automation technologies.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled business solutions, intelligent automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
