Bayside Solutions seeks a Temp Senior Manager, HRIS in the Redwood City, CA area to own Workday HCM configuration, optimization and release management. You will partner with HR, Finance and IT to align our HRIS with business needs, lead deployments, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

This remote/hybrid role reports to the Associate Director, People Operations & Systems. Candidates should have 4–6+ years in Workday HRIS, strong Core HCM, Compensation and Security

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, IT, statistics, business administration or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years of experience in Workday HRIS administration and strong Core HCM/Comp/Benefits security knowledge.
• Proactive and able to prioritize across multiple tasks.

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, develop, configure, and optimize Workday HCM processes and present scalable solutions across HR, Finance, and IT.
• Translate business requirements into technical Workday solutions.
• Evaluate and drive deployment of Workday feature releases and functionality.
• Lead deployment activities, including regression testing and impact analysis.
• Serve as a consultative partner to HR and cross-functional teams; develop training materials for managers and employees on Workday Core HCM.
• Support Change Review Board for configuration changes affecting processes, workflow, security, and data.
• Provide end-user support by diagnosing and resolving Workday issues.
• Stay aware of HR technology changes and recommend enhancements.

Job Summary

As Temp Senior Manager, HRIS, you'll help shape the future of how we leverage technology to empower our people and scale our business. With our core system recently launched, this role focuses on optimization and continuous improvement to our evolving needs. Joining an established team that includes another Senior Manager and two HRIS analysts, this role will collaborate across HR, Finance, and IT to align our technology solutions with organizational goals. We're looking for someone who has successfully led this type of work and thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments. You will report directly to the Associate Director, People Operations & Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, develop, configure, and optimize Workday HCM processes and present scalable solutions that support the evolving business needs of our fast-growing organization. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across multiple Workday functional areas.
• Turn business requirements into technical requirements and proposed Workday solutions while treating every challenge as an opportunity for improvement and efficiency.
• Evaluate and drive the deployment of feature releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday, ensuring HR and business requirements are met.
• Lead associated deployment activities, inclusive of regression testing, downstream impact analysis, and assurance of overall system performance/stability.
• Serve as a consultative partner to HR and cross-functional teams, collaborating with business partner SMEs to design and implement processes, and to develop training materials for managers, employees, and business partner teams on the effective use of the Workday Core HCM module.
• Support the Change Review Board process on requests to update configuration impacting business processes, workflow, security, and data.
• Provide support to Workday end users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues and problem areas.
• Stay aware of changes in HR technology and make recommendations for enhancements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience in Workday HRIS administration. Strong configuration knowledge of Core Workday modules, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Compensation, Benefits, and Security Groups. Additional workday functional area experience in advanced Workday modules (i.e., Advanced Compensation, Workday Studio, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Proactive, able to work independently, and prioritize effectively with competing priorities across multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and support multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday HCM and Security Certified with solid experience in a lead role. Additional Workday certifications are a plus.
• Advanced Compensation (Annual Merit, Equity & Bonus cycles) experience is a plus.
• Experience in improving and identifying issues in processes, models, suggesting user-focused improvements, and navigating/influencing cross-functional teams to drive these changes.
