Job summary

Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC seeks an HRIS professional to maintain and improve Infor/Lawson and related HR systems, ensure data integrity, and support payroll and benefits processes.

You will analyze data, generate reports, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with HR, IT, and business partners to implement solutions. Experience with HRIS upgrades and system configurations is preferred; strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, CS or related field from an accredited school.
• 2-4 years of HRIS experience supporting HR, Benefits and Payroll applications Lawson. Experience with Infor/Lawson.
• Experience working in implementation(s) and/or upgrade(s) of HR/Payroll-related systems/applications (Lawson/Infor/Workday)

Responsibilities

• Serves as HRIS functional team expert providing expertise in the HR, Benefits, Leaves and Payroll system components.
• Investigates and analyzes system problems and develops and implements solutions in partnership with functional clients and IT.
• Maintains HRIS (Infor/Lawson) system configuration tables to facilitate accurate and timely entry and maintenance of employee data.
• Assists in identifying, researching, and resolving issues when employees are not paid or do not appear in the HRIS and timekeeping systems.
• Manages and/or supports the uploading of mass data changes within the various support systems.
• Responsible for running ad hoc processes and for auditing and troubleshooting both scheduled and ad hoc processes.
• Develops and maintains HRIS-related procedures to ensure consistent use and maintenance of the systems.
• Participate in small to medium-scale projects from conception to implementation: meeting timelines and milestones.
• Trains and coach super users/subject matter experts on the appropriate use of the assigned applications/modules.
