Job summary

George Washington University is seeking an HRIS Associate, Business Operations at its Ashburn campus to manage day-to-day personnel actions and GWID generation. You will handle I-9, E-Verify, and employee data in the ERP system, coordinating with HR partners and Benefits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

This hybrid role requires reviewing high-volume, time-sensitive system processes while delivering quality service and supporting onboarding for medical residents and staff within GW's HRIS

Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems such as Banner, Workday, PeopleSoft preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Excel and MS Office products.
• Strong customer service and teamwork in a team-oriented office environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Higher education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day personnel action requests for residents, staff, and temporary/research positions; generate GWID numbers.
• Enter I-9 and E-Verify data to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain employee data records in the ERP system and assist in onboarding for medical residents.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits to resolve processing issues.
• Assist in special projects and ensure data privacy and accuracy.
