Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) seeks an HRIS Administrator to manage transactions for the HRIS Unit, including new hires, promotions, salary changes and transfers. You will ensure data accuracy, validate inputs, and use PeopleSoft and service request tools to process transactions.

Responsibilities include researching inquiries, documenting procedures, supporting cyclical processing, and maintaining high-quality outputs within SLA targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of HR data processing experience in HRIS (employee records, hires, promotions, etc.).
• Experience with data updates and maintaining employee records.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or related HRIS.
• Ability to document procedures and work with confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate and maintain data and transaction inputs.
• Enter transactions in PeopleSoft and service request tools.
• Process new hires, promotions, transfers and salary changes.
• Provide customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Develop and update operating procedures and training materials.
