Job summary

USO in Arlington, VA is seeking an HRIS Manager to lead procurement, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of one or more HRIS systems. This in-person role emphasizes data integrity, security, reporting, and user training across the organization.

You will collaborate with Payroll, IT and HR leadership, supervise a small team, and drive process improvements in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or Human Resources.
• 5+ years progressively responsible work experience in an HRIS administration/management role, including prior experience successfully selecting and implementing an integrated HRIS.
• 1+ year in a supervisory capacity.
• Not-for-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all manual and automated system tasks related to recruitment/onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, HR management and training are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform ongoing tests for new and existing system features to ensure system integrity and functional performance.
• Represent the interests of the HRIS to Departments and Regions, Payroll/Finance and IT; manage system access and security.
• Assist with analysis and determination of system/technological needs; research and recommend databases/tools.
• Make first-line binding decisions about HRIS features and escalation concerns.
• Manage and lead HRIS team members with developmental opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
