Job summary
UNC Asheville is seeking an HRIS Manager to serve as the University’s subject matter expert for HR systems and technologies. You will partner with IT and stakeholders to implement, support, and optimize the ERP and related HR applications, ensuring reliable integrations and advanced troubleshooting across platforms.
The role leads HRIS operations, supervising staff and coordinating cross‑functional efforts to support institutional people strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Systems or related field.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience supporting information systems, HRIS platforms, or related technical functions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to collaborate across functional areas.
- Experience with HRIS administration and foundational knowledge of HR processes and data structures.

- Oversee HRIS operations and staff involved in HR technology solutions.
- Lead technical projects for ERP implementations and enhancements.
- Ensure reporting, analytics, and data integrity meet organizational needs.
