Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior HRIS Manager in Houston to lead the UKG Pro/UKG WFM platform, ensuring compliance, configuration, and optimized reporting. You will partner with HR leadership to shape workforce analytics and strategic data governance for compensation and planning.

The role requires deep UKG expertise, strong data manipulation capabilities, and the ability to steward confidential employee information while aligning system design with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience with at least 3 years UKG Pro and/or UKG WFM administration.
• Expertise in UKG reporting tools and complex report building.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and benefits processes and their system dependencies.
• Experience configuring workflows, security, and module setup within UKG.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).

Job description

The Senior HRIS Manager is a member of the Human Resources management team. The role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and Director of Payroll and acts as a confidential advisor to HR leadership. The Senior HRIS Manager sets the strategy, policies, and standards for the organization’s HR systems and workforce data. The role exercises judgment over system design, data governance, and access to confidential employee information.

This position has ownership of the organization’s UKG (UKG Pro / UKG WFM) platform, including its compliance, administration, configuration, reporting, and optimization. The role works with senior leadership to define workforce metrics and analytics that inform compensation, workforce planning, and human capital decisions. It has regular access to confidential information about the company’s human capital strategy, compensation planning, and organizational changes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with at least 3 years of hands‑on UKG Pro and/or UKG WFM administration and configuration.
• Demonstrated expertise in UKG reporting tools (Pro BI reporting, People Analytics, report writer) and complex report building.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and benefits processes and their system dependencies.
• Proven experience configuring workflows, business rules, security, and module setup within UKG.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data. Proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
