Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management
- Manage user access, security roles, permissions, workflows, business rules, and system configurations
- Maintain and support modules related to Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, and Compensation
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with UKG support and third-party vendors as needed
- Review, test, and implement system releases, patches, upgrades, and new functionality
- Configure and support annual processes such as open enrollment, compensation planning, merit increases, and performance reviews
- Gather business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions
- Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, notifications, checklists, and automated processes
- Lead or support implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts from planning through post-launch support
- Monitor integrations with benefits providers, retirement plan administrators, financial systems, single sign-on platforms, and other third-party applications
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics using UKG reporting tools
- Prepare recurring compliance, headcount, turnover, compensation, labor-cost, and audit reports
- Perform routine audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate and consistent system data
- Manage mass data uploads, imports, and organizational updates
- Maintain system documentation, change logs, procedures, and training materials
- Train end users and promote effective adoption of HR technology and self-service tools
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual work, and improve operational efficiency
- Manage HRIS projects, priorities, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Support data privacy, security, access-control, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide mentorship or guidance to HRIS team members when appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Five or more years of HRIS experience
- At least three years of hands‑on experience administering and configuring UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management
- Strong knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and related business processes
- Experience configuring workflows, business rules, security permissions, and HRIS modules
- Advanced experience building reports and analyzing workforce data within UKG
- Experience supporting payroll processes and complex or multi‑entity business environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to business stakeholders
