Job summary

TruStage is seeking an experienced HRIS consultant to support the ongoing development, configuration, and optimization of our cloud-based HRIS. You will work with SMEs, HR, and IT to ensure efficient enterprise-wide systems and secure data handling.

The role balances operational execution with strategic direction, including mergers, feature implementations, and governance. A strong background in HRIS, Workday, and advanced Office skills is required, with a collaborative, agile mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, business or related field or work experience.
• 7+ years’ experience as HRIS consultant required. Workday experience preferred.
• Proficient in seven or more HRIS functional areas: HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, etc.
• Strong consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for HRIS-specific issue resolution.
• Analyze, gather requirements, configure, test, and migrate changes in HRIS across functional areas.
• Collaborate with SMEs and leaders to improve and configure HRIS processes and reports.
• Review vendor software updates and new features to align with enterprise needs.
• Serve as HRIS SME for enterprise-wide or cross-functional projects, including mergers or acquisitions.
• Implement new HRIS features to meet changing business requirements.
• Provide guidance on feature changes from software updates.
• Partner with IT on data changes affecting databases and other IT systems.
• Create and maintain job aids for end users and stay current on HRIS trends.
• Drive HRIS optimization with leaders to align capabilities with objectives.
• Provide governance and data security for HRIS.
