Job summary

1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds in New York, NY seeks an HRIS/Data Entry Specialist to maintain employee records in the HRIS, generate HR reports, and troubleshoot ADP platforms. You will liaise with HR, IT, and vendors, and assist with system testing and audits.

The role requires handling confidential data and supporting management with data accuracy. The position is hybrid, reporting to the NYC office part-time, with initial in-office presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years HRIS and/or HR operations experience with a strong emphasis on data reporting required.
• Strong self-motivation and follow‑up skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening abilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily data entry and update employee records in the HRIS platform.
• Run standard and custom data reports for HR management and leadership.
• Help troubleshoot system errors and user login issues in ADP platforms and C-Cure.
• Act as a liaison between HR, IT, Information Security, and software vendors.
• Under HRIS Analyst supervision, test system updates and patches.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of personnel data.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and third parties regarding employment verifications.
• Conduct disciplinary reviews during Recruitment.
• Provide backup documents for audits.
• Perform special projects as directed by management.
