Job summary

The State of North Carolina seeks a State HRIS/Payroll Analyst I to manage benefits enrollment, payroll processing, and HRIS reporting within the Integrated HR-Payroll System. Qualifications

• Experience with enrollment and eligibility policies for state health and retirement programs.
• Experience with benefits administration, system reporting, and payroll deductions in an HRIS environment.
• Ability to interpret and communicate policy to employees and supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive data.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide benefits and payroll processing support using SAP and the HR-Payroll system.
• Answer benefits-related questions and ensure accurate enrollment records and payroll deductions.
• Generate reports and support webinars/presentations for benefits enrollment.
• Assist in testing system functionality before Production releases and audits.
