Job summary

Morgan Street Holdings is seeking a hands-on Lead People Operations Specialist for its North America People Operations team. This role acts as a senior SME across HR systems, project management and compliance, improving services and technology that support the employee experience.

You will drive automation and AI opportunities, guide the team without direct reports, and collaborate with Finance, IT and Legal to align initiatives with the HR roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations and lifecycle data administration.
• 2+ years managing HR systems projects, delivering to scope across multiple stakeholders.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience, preferably SuccessFactors.
• Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment law and data protection requirements.
• Strong aptitude for automation and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead specialist for People Operations services (payroll, onboarding/offboarding, leaves, relocation, immigration, compliance).
• Act as tech/process lead with no direct reports, guiding the team and prioritizing projects.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing to ensure high-quality service and compliance.
• Develop SOPs and an internal knowledge base to standardize processes across operating companies.
• Review SLAs and KPIs and produce regular reporting to support business needs.
