Job summary

Morgan Street Holdings, LLC is seeking a hands-on People Operations Lead for North America in Chicago. You will own HR operations, systems, and compliance, driving automation and data-driven improvements with no direct reports.

Report to the Manager, North America People Operations within Global People Operations. Key focus areas include payroll, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS projects, SLAs/KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT and Legal to support growth and exceptional

Qualifications

5+ years in People Operations and lifecycle data administration, including leaves and immigration.
2+ years leading HR systems projects across multiple stakeholders.
5+ years with HRIS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
Knowledge of US/Canada employment law and data protection.
Strong tech aptitude with automation and AI tools.
Data-driven decision making and analytics.

Responsibilities

Serve as lead specialist and escalation point for People Operations services across US/Canada.
Lead HRIS projects including configuration, testing, releases, data integrity.
Develop SOPs and internal knowledge base; standardize processes across operating companies.
Define SLAs and KPIs; provide regular reporting and analysis.
Ensure HR compliance activities and stay current on employment legislation in US/Canada.
Collaborate with Finance, IT and Legal to align business needs.
