Job summary

TriCom Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst to support workforce scheduling, time and attendance, and related HR technology for a global, shift-based workforce in Minneapolis.

Job description

Location: Minneapolis, MN

This HRIS Analyst supports workforce scheduling, time and attendance, and related HR technology for a global, shift-based workforce. The role focuses on configuring and supporting plant scheduling capabilities, troubleshooting production and integration issues, translating business requirements into system solutions, and delivering enhancements through testing and stabilization. The position works across HR, operations, payroll, IT, and vendors to improve scheduling processes and maintain system health.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support workforce scheduling functionality including shifts, rotations, labor rules, employee assignments, coverage, availability, and scheduling workflows.
• Troubleshoot scheduling configuration, production support, data, and integration issues across workforce management systems.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, configuration requirements, integration needs, and technical recommendations.
• Deliver system enhancements through discovery, planning, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and stabilization.
• Maintain system and process documentation and communicate changes to business users, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 3+ years supporting, configuring, implementing, or enhancing complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience configuring or supporting workforce scheduling, time and attendance, workforce management, or labor-management applications.
• Experience with scheduling functionality, including shifts, rotations, employee assignments, labor rules, availability, coverage requirements, and schedule exceptions.
• Understanding of integrations between workforce scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, HRIS, ERP, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience gathering requirements, supporting system configuration, testing solutions, resolving defects or production issues, and supporting post-implementation stabilization.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience with Indeavor or Infor Workforce Management.
• Experience with comparable workforce management platforms such as UKG/Kronos, Shiftboard, WorkForce Software, Dayforce, or Blue Yonder, particularly in manufacturing, plants, warehouses, distribution, or other shift-based environments.
• Experience with workforce reporting, analytics, or dashboards.

This is a 9-month Contract opportunity with our Minneapolis-based client.
