Job summary

Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting seeks an Oracle ERP Applications Director to lead strategy and execution for enterprise ERP platforms. You will partner with executives to align technology with business goals, oversee modernization, and manage large-scale ERP programs in a hybrid Minnesota environment.

You will drive cross-functional teams, build governance, measure performance, and communicate outcomes to the board.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, including management of enterprise application teams.
  • Deep expertise with enterprise ERP platforms and related business applications.
  • Proven success leading ERP modernization, transformation consolidation, and large-scale implementation programs.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance practices, and enterprise delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop technology strategies that align enterprise applications and customer engagement platforms with organizational goals.
  • Define and lead the enterprise application strategy, including long-term roadmaps, governance policies, and modernization initiatives.

Oracle ERP Applications Director

We are seeking a strategic technology leader who excels at connecting systems, processes, and business outcomes. As the Director of Enterprise ERP Applications, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise business applications, supporting both current operations and future-state transformation initiatives.

You will partner closely with executive leadership to define and implement scalable, forward-looking technology solutions across enterprise ERP platforms. This highly visible role will have significant impact on organizational performance, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.

Location: Southwest Suburbs

Salary: $170K-$200K

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Partner with business leaders to develop technology strategies that align enterprise applications and customer engagement platforms with organizational goals.
  • Define and lead the enterprise application strategy, including long-term roadmaps, governance policies, and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive enterprise-wide ERP transformation efforts, including planning, development, consolidation, upgrades, and cloud adoption.
Program & Project Delivery
  • Lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering large-scale technology initiatives on time, within budget, and with high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Establish clear engagement models, roles, and responsibilities to ensure accountability and successful execution.
  • Manage enterprise application portfolios and oversee project prioritization and resource allocation.
Operational Management
  • Manage departmental budgets, expenditures, and workforce planning activities.
  • Oversee relationships with system integrators, consulting organizations, and external technology partners.
  • Ensure effective system integration and alignment of enterprise platforms across the organization.
People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technology professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Support employee development through mentoring and career growth opportunities.
Executive Communication
  • Present technology strategies, transformation progress, performance metrics, and business outcomes to senior executives and board-level stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused communications.
Travel
  • Travel requirements up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, including management of enterprise application teams.
  • Deep expertise with enterprise ERP platforms and related business applications.
  • Proven success leading ERP modernization, transformation consolidation, and large-scale implementation programs.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance practices, and enterprise delivery frameworks.
  • Experience managing third-party consulting firms, system integrators, and technology service providers.
Leadership & Business Skills
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and strategic roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience leveraging KPIs, reporting, and analytics to drive business decisions and technology outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise cloud ERP transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading teams utilizing Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation programs within complex enterprise environments.
