Job summary

Avery Dennison in Mill Hall, PA is seeking a Workforce Support Specialist to deliver direct day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees. You will manage HR procedures and programs for US sites, with potential cross-site work and reporting to the region’s Workforce Support Manager.

Key duties include handling employee inquiries, investigations, promotions, and restructuring, while coaching leaders to use HR resources and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
• 5 to 10 years of related human resources experience required.
• Detailed understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to successfully use digital case management and workflow management tools to complete core activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee relations and manager support across sites; use data to recommend ER strategies.
• Serve as main contact for HR inquiries, complaints, and service; collaborate with other tiers to resolve issues.
• Assist employees/managers with promotions, investigations, corrective actions, PIP terms, and restructurings.
• Support and coach leaders on GPS, Performance Management, Development, and conflicts.
• Attain proficiency in digital tools, especially ad.a/ServiceNow, to manage regional ER concerns and support HR projects.
