Job summary

Walmart is seeking an HR and Operations supervisor at its Glendale, AZ facility. The role involves leading staffing, scheduling, and HR office administration while ensuring adherence to Walmart policies and safety standards.

The position emphasizes developing associates, coordinating training, and resolving HR-related issues, with a focus on delivering excellent customer and employer outcomes within the distribution/retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years’ Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years’ supervisory experience, including 1 year’s experience managing human resource processes OR 1 year’s Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
• Attends and completes all job-required trainings and assessments (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Communicate goals and manage staffing and scheduling for the area.
• Undertake HR office admin tasks (benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll).
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and HR systems.
• Identify and address associate, customer or supplier concerns and take corrective action.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders; assign duties and monitor performance.
• Coordinate training (new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training) and track completion.
