Job summary

Walmart Lakeland is seeking an HR supervisor to implement the business plan for the distribution area, manage staffing and scheduling, and coordinate HR activities including benefits and payroll. You will supervise and develop associates and leaders, ensuring training and adherence to company policies.

The role requires supervisory experience or equivalent education, with a focus on Walmart Logistics and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 2 years’ Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years’ supervisory experience, including 1 year managing HR processes.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing to implement business plans and goals.
• Manage staffing and scheduling and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals.
• Oversee HR operations: benefits, hiring, transfers, payroll, and compliance with HR policies.
• Identify associate, customer or supplier concerns and take corrective actions.
