Job summary

North Carolina State Government is seeking an HR Technician II (S) through the Division Temporary Solutions in Raleigh, NC. This temporary assignment pays around $25.00 per hour and runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with the potential to pursue health coverage under HDHP for eligible hours.

The position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27603, Wake County. Responsibilities include processing a variety of classification and compensation actions in the HR information

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 1 year of HR experience, or 2 years of progressive HR experience.
• Temporary position with no leave or retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of classification and compensation actions in the HR information system, including reallocations, in-ranges, salary adjustments, and acting pay wage type supplements
• Create new positions, supervisory changes, and position transfers
• Complete Baseline Salary Calculators
• Update job descriptions in Workday
• Prepare employee notification letters
• Participate in team projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
