The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is seeking an HR Technician II to join our Human Resources team in Raleigh, NC. You will support recruitment processes, manage HRIS transactions, payroll actions, and Workday onboarding for new hires and transfers.

Key responsibilities include posting announcements, screening applicants, processing personnel actions, and advising managers on policies and procedures. A degree in HR or equivalent is required, with relevant HR experience preferred.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience using salary administration rules in hiring packages.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems such as Workday.

Responsabilidades

• Recruitment life cycle – work with hiring supervisors to create effective postings, posting job announcements, screening and referring the most qualified applicants in the State's automated job posting system (Workday).
• Process personnel actions in the State's HRIS and payroll system to include new hires, separations, transfers, promotions; calculate appropriate salary for new hires, promotions etc.
• Assist with day-to-day information-Workday onboarding and maintaining personnel files.
• Perform various administrative functions to include processing personnel actions .
• Provide policy and procedure assistance to managers, supervisors and employees.
