Job summary

NC State Highway Patrol is hiring an HR Technician II to support employee records, onboarding, promotions, and separations in a structured HR environment. You will manage organizational data in SAP HR and ensure accurate data flows between OM and PA modules.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in HR or equivalent experience, plus 1 year of HR work or 2 years of progressive HR experience, with background checks and drug screening. Work hours are Monday–Friday, on-site in Raleigh.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of HR experience, or 2 years of progressive HR experience.
• Background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee records and org structure; oversee onboarding, promotions, transfers and separations
• Ensure personnel data entry accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Maintain SAP HR org hierarchy: positions, jobs, units
• Monitor OM-PA integration for changes reflected in records
• Lead audit prep; collect and submit compensation and time records
• Analyze audit findings and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate HR process docs for onboarding, separations, transfers, promotions
