Job summary

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is seeking an experienced HRIS professional to drive the development, maintenance, and optimization of the primary HRIS (Workday) and related systems. You will lead system upgrades, reporting, and analytics while partnering with HR, Payroll, IT and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, human resources or related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience, particularly Workday, including implementation, customization and integration.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS design, data, and processes; understanding confidentiality and security requirements.
• Excellent planning and project management capabilities; proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, operations and optimization of HRIS (UKG currently) and other HR systems.
• Identify workflow improvements and oversee system implementation projects with HR and other teams.
• Provide system training; create training materials, procedures and workflow documents.
• Manage upgrades, configuration changes, reports and integrations; test and implement changes.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal/external resources for resolution.
• Serve as liaison among HR, Payroll, IT and other stakeholders for system design and support.
• Create and deliver custom reports, dashboards and analytics for management and staff.
• Maintain data integrity, compliance, and privacy; monitor data security.
• Stay current on HR technology trends and system enhancements; liaise with vendors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
