Job summary

Adient is seeking an HR Coordinator at the West Point facility to assist the HR Manager with policy administration, file management, and clerical tasks. You will help with recruiting, orientation for new hires, and maintaining personnel databases in compliance with laws.

The role also covers coordinating training, handling offers, and monitoring employee activities to support a positive employment philosophy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 2+ years in a similar HR role.
• Strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of Workday and Outlook.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, screening, interviewing, and background checks for applicants.
• Support new employee orientation programs and promote employee involvement.
• Update and maintain computerized personnel databases in compliance with laws.
• Assist in making job offers to hourly candidates and explain benefits.
• Coordinate monthly HR reports and training sessions.
• Support the HR Manager in coordinating policies and procedures.
