Job summary

Adient West Point Facility is seeking an HR Coordinator to assist the HR Manager with policy administration, file maintenance, and reports. You will support recruiting, orientation and benefits communication, and help ensure compliance with federal and local laws.

The role involves maintaining personnel databases, generating monthly reports, and coordinating training and employee events in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Two years in a similar position and sound working knowledge of HR systems.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Workday and Outlook; experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in recruiting, screening, interviewing and background checks and refers qualified applicants to management.
• Assists HR Generalist/Manager in planning and presenting new employee orientation programs.
• Updates computerized personnel databases in compliance with laws and maintains accurate service records.
• Assists in making job offers to hourly candidates.
• Assists in orienting new hourly and salaried employees to policies, procedures and benefits.
• Monitors employee activities related to plant welfare and events.
