Job summary

Adient, located in Romulus, MI, seeks an Accounting & Human Resources Coordinator to support both financial and HR operations in a manufacturing setting. You will manage accounts payable, budgeting support, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks.

The role also covers recruitment coordination, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and partnering with production leadership on staffing. Requires 2+ years from manufacturing and a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations, and SOX requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HR processes, onboarding, and training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, month-end close, and variance analysis.
• Accounts payable processing, vendor setup/maintenance, and payment issue resolution.
• Purchase requisition review for accuracy and compliance.
• Fixed asset tracking, record maintenance, and reporting.
• Audit support and documentation preparation.
